A little Bellevue, WA history
I am so proud to be able to make and release these items in memory of my grandpa. First off a little history, I’ll try to keep this short! My grandpa “Andrew Balatico” was the owner of Andrew’s Corn & Vegetables in Bellevue, WA. He came here from the Philippines in 1926. After years of working for other farms he bought his own property and moved to Bellevue where he opened his own farm in 1959 on Bellevue Way by I90. He and his family obviously sold lots of corn and vegetables, but they were known best for their pumpkins!!! People would come from all over and bring their friends and families to pick pumpkins from their pumpkin patch. It was a popular school field trip destination with busloads of students visiting the farm. If you are from the Bellevue area, you’ve probably been there! Andrew’s Corn & Vegetables is a part of Bellevue’s history that I hope to keep alive for as long as possible ❤

Anyways, you all have the first look at our canvas bags with the original farm sign that was hand painted at the farm. These are great for shopping, especially at farmers markets and local farms ? but of course can also be used for any other needs. We also have 15oz mugs available! These items make amazing gifts for someone you know (partner, parents or grandparents) who have visited the farm in the past, heard about the farm or just like farms and history lol. Andrew’s Corn & Vegetables brought so many people wonderful memories back then that I know these items will bring someone so much happiness if they’ve ever been to the farm or knew my grandpa (Andrew) and grandma (Angelina) personally ?. Help me bring back the memories that I know so many have and help the environment by using these reusable shopping bags in public, gifting to someone or even just sharing with your friends and family! It’s a small world out there, they may know someone who has memories of the farm as well.
